Todd Anthony Leer's Obituary
Todd Anthony Leer, a metal fabricator and life-long resident of Tucson, Arizona died on June 18, 2023 at the age of 54 after bravely living with colorectal cancer.
Todd is survived by his mother; step-mother, Mary Leer; his wife, Amy Colvin; his daughter, Lindsey Bell-Moore; his son, Nicholas Leer, and bonus sons; Nicholas, Jacob, and Collin. He is predeceased by his father, William Leer; his grandfather, Claude Hile and grandmother, MaryAnn Hile.
Todd was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa on January 7, 1969 to William Ralph Leer and Dianne Hile. He graduated from Saguaro High School in 1987 and ABC Technical in 1994 with degree in Metallurgy and welding certification. He proudly started his own business, Leer Fabrication, serving the community for many years while also employed locally as facilities maintenance engineer at Banner University Medical Center and Caterpillar.
Todd was a devoted father, husband, and friend. He lived his life to the fullest and will be remembered for all things fast, abundant stories, never meeting a stranger, and endless one liners. He was proud and passionate for welding, fixing, and building things. He never hesitated to help others, and did so often. He will be missed by many but the love he showed everyone he met will live on through all of his family and friends.
A private viewing is scheduled for 10:00 on June 22, 2023 at Evergreen Mortuary. Family, friends, and others whose lives Todd touched are invited to the Celebration of Life at Imperial Sand Dunes, California on Saturday, October 28, 2023 to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and of course just chat about the good times.
