Tracy Gaye Kendall's Obituary
Tracy Gaye Kendall, 74, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tracy was a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt. She is survived by her sister Terry Renee Peterson (nee Kendall), nieces Nicole Renee Wainwright (nee Peterson) and Kirsten V. Peterson (Barry Burdette), nephews-in-law Stephen D. Wainwright, Robert Jonathon Atkinson and Leo Lucero, great-nieces Malinda Cecelia Laurelez, Victoria Joyce Wainwright, and Saturn Renee Wainwright, great-nephews Carlos Manuel Laurelez, Brandon David Laurelez, Gregory Michael Kava, Austin Nicholas Kaputa, Mark William Ascenzo, and Stephen Edward Kaputa, sisters-in-law Ann McDonald, Lois Monroe, and Diane Royko, brothers-in-law Ernest Petersen and Art Petersen, great-great-nieces Alysianne Iris Atkinson and Lilliana Martha Yesenia Lucero, and great-great-nephew Robert Wesley Atkinson.
Tracy was a longtime employee of the Beacon Foundation, where she worked for 40 years. She was involved in the Special Olympics and the Beacon Bears Bowling Team. Beacon allowed her to pursue her passions and talents at employments with Eegee’s, Pizza Hut, and Pima Community College.
Tracy loved horses and cats. She loved everyone she met. Tracy loved puzzles, coloring in velvet posters and coloring books. Tracy had a childlike spirit and heart and had a contagious laugh. She loved vacations to Ensenada, B.C. , Mexico and California Particularly San Diego and Disneyland. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She also enjoyed fishing.
Tracy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a ray of sunshine in this world.
