Trinidad M. Figueroa's Obituary
Trinidad M. Figueroa April 4, 1918 February 26, 2012 "Trinie" Joined Our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 26, 2012. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Frank L. Figueroa. She is survived by: her five children (Jimmy, George, Tony, Sylvia, Roman), their spouses, her dear sister Helen Rivera and many many friends and family members. Her 20 grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great-great grandchildren are her legacy. Trinie was born in Benson, AZ and was one of twelve children born to Roman and Antonia Marquez. After her marriage to Frankie, she spent most of her adult life raising her own family on a working cattle ranch in Sonoita, AZ. She was an active member of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Arizona Cowbelles Association and loved spending time with her friends on neighboring ranches throughout southeastern Arizona. She was an avid gardener and always surrounded herself with beautiful plants and flowers. This great lady loved life so very much. It was never difficult to get a smile and a sincere laugh from her, even when she was laughing at herself. Trinie was the perfect balance of compassion, grace and inner-strength. She dedicated her life to her friends and family and most importantly, her children. She proudly raised and nurtured her own and then spent the rest of her life helping others raise many more. Her sense of humor and compassionate heart endeared her to all who met her. Her courage and faith in God served as an inspiration to all. We were so blessed to have this lady in our lives and when we remember her, we will celebrate her kindness, her light, and a beautiful soul that loved unconditionally. Trinie will be greatly missed but her spirit will forever remain with everyone who knew and loved her. When you think of her remember to treat everyone with kindness and take the time to stop and smell the roses. Trinie will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Evergreen Mortuary and Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ. The Rosary and funeral services will commence at 10:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Chapel, co-located on the Evergreen Cemetery grounds. A very special thanks is sent to Cindy Perry and everyone at Casa De La Luz Hospice.
