Valerie Jean McDonald's Obituary
Valerie Jean McDonald Smith Bayze Rocha was born on January 15, 1980 and passed away August 4, 2023.
Preceded in death by her father Adrian McDonald aka Macky when Valerie was a year old. Her Grandpa Robert, & Grandma Helen Smith, Her Grandpa Mac & Grandma Althea McDonald and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Valerie is survived by her Mom and Dad, Sigrid (Secret) & Mario Rocha, brothers, George (Ivette) and Jeremy (Betina), sister, Priscilla (Anthony); and many friends and family. A Funeral Service is scheduled from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday September 8th 2023, at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn & South Lawn Cemetery.
While her family and friends are devastated by her death, they are thankful for her life. Valerie was a quiet soul who relished the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading and writing, listening to Oldies, Sunday Night Slow Jams, and spending lots of time with her family and friends. Valerie also loved exploring Tucson. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Valerie never married and didn’t get a chance to have any children but she was great with kids. She loved her siblings and their children. She was a protector. She helped raise her siblings kids whenever she had the opportunity. Valerie will forever be missed but never forgotten. We love you Valerie. See you again in the next life
