Victoria Annette Seeger's Obituary
Victoria Annette Seeger was born into an Air Force family on October 7, 1959 in Goldsboro, NC to Carl E. Seeger and Paula V. (Haynes) Seeger. She had an older sister Rebecca and a younger brother James. In her lifetime, she attended five elementary schools, one junior high school and two senior high schools, graduating from Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, FL. She attended Okaloosa-Walton Community College for one year and earned an associate’s degree from Pima Medical Institute.
As an Air Force dependent, she lived throughout the United States to include North Carolina, Arizona, Hawaii, Washington, and Florida, as well as in Germany. She also lived in New Mexico, California, Louisiana, and Canada. Living in so many places and experiencing so many cultures provided Victoria with the experience, confidence, and worldview to succeed at everything she attempted.
Victoria lived life on her own terms, following her passions and positively influencing people across all opportunities she pursued including model, actress, singer, ski instructor, medical assistant, restaurant manager, dog trainer, and music management. As a model, she was signed with Eileen Ford Modeling Agency, was in the movie The Doors and a General Electric commercial, and sang as lead in Victoria Cross and as part of the duo Double Take. She was a ski instructor at Taos Ski Valley and worked with the music producer Keith Olsen and with Iron Gate Records.
Her greatest accomplishment was the birth of her son, Kristoffer on July 23, 1993. She was totally devoted to Kris and his passing in 2022 led to profound grief that she fought to live with every day. She was also a tireless advocate for animals, creating and managing a website, One More Voice for Animals. She also adopted abused and abandoned dogs and cats to ensure they had a chance to live good lives despite the abuse they experienced early in life. Throughout her life she had horses, snakes, dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, and birds.
Victoria was preceded in death by her father Major Carl E. Seeger, USAF; mother Paula V. Seeger, and son Kristoffer J. Seeger. She is survived by her sister Rebecca N. Seeger, brother James E. Seeger, and nephews Tallon A. Seeger and Xander C. Seeger, as well as one aunt and five cousins. Victoria’s tenaciousness, advocacy, loyalty, and love will be sorely missed by all her love her, especially her family. Rest in Peace, Victoria, with Mom, Dad, Kristoffer, and all the dogs and cats who have been watching over you and waiting for you in heaven.
