Virginia Evelyn Sowler's Obituary
Virginia Evelyn Sowler, 88, of Tucson, passed away April 14, 2012. Virginia was born August 17, 1923, in Milburn, OK., to Elmer and Mary Heath. She worked as a meat packer for 17 years at Safeway grocery stores and was very proud of her Native American heritage as a member of the Chickasaw Tribe. She was preceded in death by a son, George Jackson. Survivors include her loving husband, William "Bill" Sowler; daughter, Janis Jackson; son, Reynolds Jackson all of Tucson; sister, Wilma Slater of Milburn, OK; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in EVERGREEN CEMETERY.
