Walter J. Arnell's Obituary
Walter J. Arnell (91) of Tucson died April 1, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Patricia A., devoted father of Vicky and Sarah Arnell of Tucson; dear brother of Pamala Edwards of England; cherished grandfather of Jenner Arnell, Curtis Pritz, Neyland Pritz, and Marycatherine Pritz. Mr. Arnell trained at the Royal Aircraft Establishment in England and went on to be the Dean of Engineering and helped establish the Engineering Dept. in Long Beach CA. After leaving California, Mr. Arnell was a Professor at the University of Arizona in the Engineering Dept. Among his hobbies he created Independent Documentaries about travel. He was also a member and contributor to many engineering organizations. Professor Arnett touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at EVERGREEN MORTUARY Chapel, (N. Oracle Rd. and W Miracle Mile) on Tuesday, April 7, from 5 – 8 PM with the rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church, 4725 E Pima St, Tucson, AZ 85712.
