William Warner Hempel Sr.'s Obituary
HEMPEL, William Warner, 79 of Tucson, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Survived by his wife Mary; sons Michael, David, Bob, Bryan and Bill; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Hempel was the founder and owner of Hobby Barn Sales of Radio Controlled Model Airplanes for forty five years. He was also the past president of the Tucson Radio Control Club. Bill touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a chapel service, 2:00 PM, June 24th at Evergreen Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Mark Bickerton officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 PM. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
