William Alex Hyatt's Obituary
William Alex Hyatt, age 55, passed away suddenly in Fountain Hills, AZ on Sunday, August 12, 2012, of Alcoholism and Diabetic Ketoacidosis.
William was born in Tucson, AZ., the youngest son of Floyd Arthur Hyatt (d. 2005) and Helen M Hyatt. Although the family lived in both Michigan and Arizona, William lived most of his life in Arizona.
William graduated from Saguaro High School in 1975. From 1976 to 1986, and he worked in Service and Sales Merchandising, was Department manager for Walmart Automotive, and Department Manager for Kmart Shoes. In 1986, William attended Lamson Business College in Tucson, earned a diploma in computer accounting, and began a career in finance.
In January 1978, William married his high school sweetheart, Karen Annette (Harrington). In November 1979, they lovingly celebrated the birth of their only child, Heather Nicole. Sadly, the marriage ended in divorce in 1983.
William was an intelligent, energetic man who loved bowling, billiards, motorcycling, 4-wheeling, camping, target-shooting, and hiking the mountain trails.
At the time of his death, William was survived by his mother, Helen; sister Christine; brothers, Floyd Allen and John; daughter, Heather Nicole (m. David Stapula); granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia; and nephews, Aaron and Justin, and his niece Lana.
