William E. Lamson's Obituary
William E. Lamson (Bill) 1919-2014 Our beloved Bompa passed from this world on Saturday, March 29th. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Liz, and his son Philip (Meri). He is survived by his daughters; Beth Hudgin (Jim), Alice Johnson (Bobby) and Polly Hopkins (Steve), 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Bill was a patriot who served in the Navy during WWII. After the war, he and his wife moved to Tucson where he earned his graduate degree in education. Bill taught for 35 years in TUSD and was an active member of the TEA, Retired Teachers, and TFCU board. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to write poems about his family and watch NCIS episodes. He will be greatly missed. Chapel services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. Interment to follow Evergreen Cemetery.
