William Otto Vomaska's Obituary
WILLIAM OTTO VOMASKA
Bill was born in Bath, ME, son of the late Otto and Dorothy (Hill) Vomaska and passed away here on January 28, 2017. He worked for IBM for many years in New York and here in Tucson. In Dec. 1990 he suffered a fall and has since been constantly cared for by his devoted wife of 55 years, Sandra (Perry) Vomaska. Rock and Roll and other types of music were enjoyed by Bill as were sports, especially basketball, volleyball and tennis. In addition to his beloved wife he leaves, his children; William, Jr., Stephen (Julie) and Suzanne (Joe) Wingate. He was proud of his grandchildren; Michelle, Jessica, Emily, Allison and Sandra and he spoiled his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Aliyana and Gianna. He leaves two sisters, Mary (Fred) Benninghoff and Wendy (Dale) Webb and a brother, Paul “Mike” (Sheryl). Bill was predeceased by a son, Michael and a brother, Jon. Bill will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, 1:30 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. Odilia Church. Visitation to be 6 – 9 PM, Friday at EVERGREEN MORTUARY.
