Wilma Jean Delano's Obituary
Wilma Jean (fielis) Delano, 82, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Abuelos at Edgewood in Tucson. Born on April 3, 1938 in Denver, CO. She was the daughter of the late William H. Fielis and Louise (Miller) Fielis. She was preceded by Richard, her husband of 52 Years. Together, they had one child Susan M. (Delano) Rickman. Wilma was a dutiful Military spouse, serving along her husband’s side for 20 years in the United States Air Force. She graduated Tucson High School in 1956 and was a bookkeeper during her employment years. Wilma is predeceased by her two sisters Evelyn Mardis and Dorothy Rivers. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. she leaves behind her daughter Susan and son-in-law Bernie Rickman, grandson Eric Amaro (Lisa), granddaughters Valorie Bianculli (Joseph) and Brianna Rickman, sister-in-law Pauline Curtin. She Cherished numerous Great Grandchildren, Great-Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Wilma treasured her lifelong friendship with Marylou Sandrock and countless others. She brightened our lives with her radiant smile and unconditional love. Until we are reunited again, our memories of you are timeless.
