Yeta Bart Weston's Obituary
Yeta Bart Weston – Born January 14, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away Monday, March 4th at the age of 104 years young. As one of the exclusive members of the over 100 club earning the moniker “Super Senior,” all who knew Yeta understood she put the SUPER in the title.
The first born of three girls to Ester and Laser Bart, Yeta and her husband Dr. Aaron S. Weston (deceased February 9, 2008) spent their first 80 + years in New York. There they raised their own trio of girls, Pam Weston, Wendy Weston Fishkind and Dolly Weston Dribben, where Aaron practiced Family Medicine and Yeta ran the office while pursuing her work as an artist and sculptor. Yeta is the matriarch of a family that spans five generations with her three daughters bringing the joy of six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She and Aaron moved to Green Valley, AZ in 1998, to start a full and inspiring retired life. The two were founding members of Beth Shalom Temple Center, developing new friends and interests for 21 years where Yeta came of age once again. So, raise a glass to a life well lived.
