Zachary Solomon Orman's Obituary
Zachary Solomon Orman 28, died in a paragliding accident on April 7, 2013 in Tucson. Zach was born in Merced and grew up in Murphys, CA. He was an honor student from the beginning. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Neurobiology. He then spent three years working for Yosemite Search and Rescue and as a ski patrol around Lake Tahoe. He was in his third year attending University of Arizona Medical School, where his father also graduated from, and had achieved honors in all rotations. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the AOA Gold Award for Humanism. He is survived by his parents, Rodger and Holly; sister, Emily; girlfriend, Becca Dennis; grandparents, Bernie and Betty Orman and Marvin and Dinah Taub and aunt, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El in Tucson, Arizona. Contributions can be made to the University of Arizona College of Medicine in his name. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY.
