Zamya Renee Bowlds' Obituary
Zamya Renee Bowlds was born on July 26, 2008, to Shenika R. White and Ameer Bowlds Sr. in Indianapolis, Indiana. She’s 15 years old and was the youngest girl of six children, which are Shavel Evans-Austin, Trayvion White-Austin, Jaylin White-Austin, Ameer Austin, and Kamari Austin.
In 2014, Zamya moved to Tucson, Arizona with her mother where they would join her grandparents Sylvia Evans and Everett Evans Sr. Growing up she was an honor roll student while attending Amphi Junior High where she was elected student of the month on various occasions. She was a cheerleader for the Falcons, where she enjoyed cheering on her brothers during every game. Zamya was also involved in many activities such as band, where she played the trumpet, and was involved within our church as a praise and worship dancer.
She attended Amphi Theater High School, where she aspired to join the JROTC program and later become a member of the military. Zamya loved watching Game of Thrones, Rick & Morty and her beloved dogs Athena and Tiny. She was always kindhearted, full of joy and loving. No matter the circumstance she was always forgiving and honest. She always encouraged others to remain strong and was there if you needed a shoulder to cry on. Zamya was truly a beautiful soul and will forever have a special place in our hearts. Our Family would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has joined us in honoring our sweet beloved Zamya.
