I am so lucky to have known Nana for the last 15 years. She has been such a special art my life. Nana was a woman full of life and love and her laugh was infectious. I thought she was very excepting of others and never made me feel like an in-law but like a granddaughter. The first time I met Nana she gave me a big bear hug which embarrassed Adam but I loved it. As hard as it is to not have Nana with us physically anymore I am at peace knowing she is "fit as a fiddle" waiting for us in heaven.
Mrs. Seymour was like a second mom to me for many years and I cherish the memories of time spent with the family as a young girl. Candy and family, I wish you quiet peaceful memories of your Mom and Grandma, ones that bring smiles to your faces and joy to your hearts. Candy, hugs to you!
I am so lucky to have known Nana for the last 15 years; she has been such a special part of my life. Nana was a woman full of life and love, and her laugh was infectious. She was very accepting of others, and never made me feel like an in-law; instead she loved me like a granddaughter. She made sure I called her Nana from the start, and greeted me with a huge bear hug the first time we were introduced (I remember Adam was quite embarrassed, but I loved it)! It is hard to imagine our Hastings family without Nana, but I find peace in knowing we will be with her again in God's Kingdom. I can see Nana now, praising our Lord through the streets of Heaven and singing some of her favorite hyms. If she saw me sitting here teary eyed as I write this, she would say "Don't you worry about me Miss Kelli, I'm fit as a fiddle!" I love you Nana and as hard as it is not to have you with us physically anymore,I am very thankful that you are healed and with Jesus.
