Betty Arlene Seymour's Obituary
Betty was born in Visalia, CA. At the age of 2 she moved to Gilbert, AZ and in later years to Tucson. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with family. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan and faithfully attended all their events. Betty also loved cooking, the Phoenix Suns and AZ Diamondbacks. She passed peacefully at home on July 27, 2015, at the age of 87, after battling Alzheimer’s since 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen “Ray” Seymour and daughter Penny Seymour. Betty is survived by her daughter, Candy (Tom) Hastings; grandchildren Tiffany (Wes) Kibler, Nathaniel (Susie) Hastings and Adam (Kelli) Hastings, and 4 great grandchildren Austin, Carly, Makenzie and Parker. She will be dearly missed by her family. Our heartfelt thanks goes to Casa de La Luz and her many caregivers for the wonderful care and support they provided. All services will be held at Evergreen Mortuary, N. Oracle Rd. & W. Miracle Mile. Visitation from 2-6 PM on Sunday, Aug. 2nd and services at 10 AM Monday on Aug. 3rd. Memorials may be made to Interfaith Community Services or Pima Council on Aging.
