I Love my mom and will miss her so much. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through. I am so proud of my mom as I know she impacted so many people in her life. When she worked at CPS she worked tons of overtime hours without pay during the week and weekend to help the families through rehabilitation and protecting the children, and helping the parents to get their children back. Just as my brother stated I never saw my mother give up on anyone, and if you did something she didn't like she would just pray for you :). When she retired she continued to work with children at St. Phillips Kindergarten and others as she loved that so much ministering to them in her own special way like she could every day. Mom was always full of excitement and laughter, and we would laugh and be silly every time she would visit. She was the most wonderful grandmother to my children, and wanted to know every detail of their lives as much as possible since we lived far away. I am so glad she was able to visit once a year with them since they have been born, but am saddened that she cannot watch them grow old with us as we were 3 weeks shy from coming out here for family vacation when she passed away. My mother was always positive and tried to see the bright side of things, and that is one thing she taught me well, I think. My moms faith and love for Christ her Savior was amazing, and I know she was an example to many. I am saddened so much from her gone from my life, but know she is up in heaven having a ball. I LOVE YOU MOM! FROM LAURETTA
