Burton E. Becker passed away Tuesday, April 25 after a prolonged battle with cancer.. He is survived by daughters Beth Becker of Silver Spring, MD and Amy Platizky (Adam Platizky) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his brother Read Obituary
Amy. I want to thank you for the phone call informing me of Burt's passing, and for the video of his funeral service. Your tribute to your Dad was truly from the heart and I know it was difficult for you and you were brave for doing such a great job telling everyone about your Dad. I've known Burt and Phillis for over 40 years my father cut Burt hair. In 1983 when I moved to Tucson I started to cut his hair, the girls were still pottery young. I'll miss are lunches,and his bad jokes. He's in heaven with his beloved wife Phyllis.
I didn't know you personally, but you raised a wonderful daughter, and that tells me a lot about you as a person. Rest in peace!
