Cassius E. Sargent 100 years of age, passed away on August 27, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Helen and his son, Richard and is survived by his son, Thomas and many loving nieces and nephews. During WWII at Read Obituary
Cassius was a wonderful man and a real asset to the Society of Southwestern Authors. He was always a gentleman and at every forum he attended, he delighted us with a poem. His poems always had a quirky fun sense of humor. We will truly miss him.
Cassius was a friend from my writing class. I used to pick him up and drive him to class. Cassius had a brain that never quit--he was perceptive, funny and, most of all, a good friend. I'll miss his wit, his wonderful "spot-on" poetry and his friendly advice on most any subject.
