I was married to one of Christopher’s siblings at one time. When I met him, I was struck by how clear it was that he was without question, the head of the family. A leader, firm, yet gentle. He was a good man. Every good thing about him showed in his wife and children. Thank you for looking out for everyone that you could. For helping those who didn’t deserve it. Today, I honor you sir. Today, I light this candle in loving memory of my cousin Chris.

So many memories! A fond memory of Chris, showcasing his kindness and steadiness, was in 2005 when we packed up in his and Alison's car to drive 600 miles round trip to help my Mom load up a uhaul and move. Shortly after leaving we got a flat tire in the desert and he didnt fluster a bit, instead he simply put on the donut tire and turned around and we repacked everyone in their truck to continue the mission. That's how I remember it. I think we even slept on my Mom's floor during the move? (mind you we were in our twenties - but he would have done that at any age for his friends). His selflessness amd sense of purpose in everything he did shines brighter than the brightest light saber. Never flustered - always facing adversity with grace and a bit of humor ♥️
