Christopher Mitchell Rhodeman's Obituary
Christopher Rhodeman sadly passed away on December 19, 2025, in the hospital, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him and held him close. Christopher’s life left a lasting impact on his family, friends, and everyone who shared moments with him.
Christopher was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, and grew up in the state, where he later met his beloved wife, Alison, at Salina Central High School. The couple celebrated 31 years of marriage this past May. Christopher and Alison moved to Arizona, where they raised their family, and later lived in Missouri and New Mexico before returning to Arizona this year, where he wished to be.
In his younger years, Christopher enjoyed an active lifestyle, including skateboarding, paintballing, riding his motorcycle, and time at the firing range. Over the years, he became a dependable “Mr. Fix-It,” known for his skill, patience, and willingness to help others. He was widely respected for his calm demeanor, quiet strength, and steady presence.
Christopher proudly served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, retiring in 2018. Following his retirement, he continued working as a civilian for the Department of the Air Force until 2025. He also pursued his education with determination, earning his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Criminal Justice in 2022.
He loved spending time with his family and was an avid supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. Known for his competitive spirit, whether in cards or board games, he brought energy to every game and every moment. Christopher will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
He is survived by his wife, Alison Rhodeman; daughters Krystal (WC McFadden) Rhodeman and Karissa (Abigail) Rhodeman; his mother, Linda (Karvellas) Chambers; and his siblings Gregory Brown, Raymond Rhodeman, Priscilla (David) Curry, and Glenda Brown. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Brown; his grandmother, Lena Rhodeman; his grandfather, Melvin Rhodeman; and their family dog, Peanut Rhodeman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Mortuary in Tucson, Arizona, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow the funeral. Family and friends are invited to join for light refreshments afterward at Tangerine Sky Community Park in Marana, Arizona, from 3:00–6:00 p.m.
The family is appreciative of any flowers, plants, or notes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) in Christopher’s memory.
