I met Dan in the early 1990's when he was operating Jeff's Market and spending some of his time flying model planes. We built models in the Market and spent a lot of time talking about planes, engineering, and just life. Dan was a nice man whom I enjoyed greatly. I miss you, friend. Scott Winans
I met Dan 25 years ago when I bought the property in back of Dan's house and business. We would have long talks, especially when Dan was walking his German Shepherd. I left Tucson but made yearly visits, and would see Dan at those times. Dan always helped others who were less fortunate. He was intelligent and kind. Dan will be missed by all those that knew him.
