Doris will ever be missed by all of us who received her persistent prayers for us and for our families. We are commissioned to pick up her baton and become faithful prayers for the next generation. So thankful to have known this faithful and gifted woman of God.

Mrs. Crain was always a gracious lady and eager to hear about what we were doing in ministry. She and Mr. Crain faithfully contributed to our ministry to the Hispanics for many years. I thank the Lord that our paths crossed so many years ago back in Memphis, TN at Open Door Bible Church. I know how much she looked forward to heaven. Doris and John both loved the ministry of CEF and were prayer warriors and strong friends for the staff, volunteers, and children reached through the ministry of CEF in Pima County. Doris was an encourager especially of my wife and me during our 27 years of serving on staff with Pima CEF. Doris loved to talk with us about her opportunities to share God's Word with some of her neighbors and friends and to share with us what God was recently teaching her from His Word. She'd always have an encouraging word about specific things she'd read regarding Pima CEF in our Prayer Ministry letters and newsletters. Doris' knowledge and fascination with baseball was amazing. She kept stats and had great evaluations of most of the players. Sharing her faith and baseball with others were two of her favorite endeavors.
What a blessing Doris was to so many. She was faithful to pray and I thanked her one of the last times I saw her for praying for my kids over many years. What better gift can we give each other than to pray for each other and especially our children. Thank you Doris for your gracious and gentle spirit and your heart for others.
