Mary Ann Severs
What sad news to learn from Dr. Martin Meyer's daughter, Christine that he had died. Marty and my husband, Dr. Ron Severs were classmates in college and medical school and while medical interns at St Louis City Hospital were room mates. This was in 1957, Ron and I met and we double- dated with Pat and Marty and later Marty was one of Ron's groomsmen for our wedding.
Later the fellows each went on to their separate medical specialties. Each had some time in the military and then private medical practices but always kept in touch as special friends. We shared telling of Pat's death and much later we met Elaine. We had separate visits with Marty and both wives and have wonderful fun memories of these times together. Marty sent us a copy of his book and gladly while Ron was still alive to enjoy it.
My sincere sympathy is sent to all of your family.
