Playing golf with Fred at Montauk Downs was a yearly highlight while we worked together at the Court. Great times. Fred hit the ball long but not straight. Never complained when hacking out of the rough. Somehow he always won our little side bet legitimately. He was a wonderful judge, patient and courteous to all. My friend, I miss him dearly.
