George K Nervig
George passed away on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 95. He was born on May 5, 1921 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Rev & Mrs Edward Nervig. He had 5 siblings, Edward, Jr, Dorothy (Nelson), Newman, Nordale and Bob.
He grew up in Canton, South Dakota and received his education in the United States and in Paris, France.
During World War II, George served in North Africa, Italy and France.
He worked in the travel industry with his own companies in South Dakota and Florida, conducting tours to most areas of the world.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Irene; two sons, Gerard and Steve, one grandson and one granddaughter, and one great grandson.
George led a full and exciting life and although he didn’t leave much input on the world, he did leave his foot prints on over 69 countries.
The great tour director has embarked on his final cruise.
