Every time you see a light, I'm there
Every time the sun shines bright, I'm there
I'm there when you turn on your flashlight,
or hold your lighter high.
I'm there with the moon and the stars shining,
bright in the sky.
I'm there until the light goes out,
For then I go and hide.
But never fear, cuz I'll be back,
I'm your shadow, I'm always here.
- Julie Vondersaar
