I live in Sunflower on Starry Night Lane which was across the street from Howard and Frances. It was always a delight to see Howard in his garage at his workbench doing his glass work. He gave everyone on the block a beautiful piece of his art. My dish and cross will always be part of my treasures. His giant being was mainly his heart and we all loved him for it.

Howard and Frances were my next door neighbors in Sunflower. I lived alone and they watched over me with their loving care. My memories are beautiful and forever lasting.

I have many memories of Uncle Howard over the years during the times he lived here in Indiana. Like Edna and Jim (my Dad) - most of his years were good ones and that is such a blessing. Dad always thought he'd live longer than any of them, but Edna and your Dad both beat him. Dad lacked 3 months of being 93. I have a stained glass cross he gave me one year at a reunion. Still hangs in my work room.

I just remember Uncle Howard loved to teach! When I would visit him in Massachusetts as a child, he was always wanting to fill my head with knowledge. :)
