We hold the memories of our friend Janet close to our hearts. Her bubbly personality and her positive attitude influenced us with each contact. Our memories of her speak of our loss. We love her.
I always felt it a privilege to be a friend of Janet's. Besides baseball she loved to go out for lunch or tea. I was fortunate to be able to accompany her. She was always up beat and full of laughter. I will remember her that way.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Janet's family and many dear friends. She was a lovely and loved lady. We were blessed to have had our paths cross!
I was new to the Newcomers Club and the first time I saw Janet she was at a Newcomers luncheon; she had her arm in a sling and was trying to take pay-at-the-door money for the luncheon and find name tags at the same time. I went up to her and helped her with her task. We became sudden friends and shared breakfasts, lunches, and laughs from that day forward. Janet would house and cat-sit periodically for us whenever we traveled. Afterwards, when Janet called on the phone, I would put her on the speaker phone and Ying and Yang (cats) came out and tied to join in the conversationif we played a recording of Janets voice, the same scenario occurred. We have many hilarious memories of our get-togethers! Ill bet you folks didnt know that Janet spoke Catonese. Janet, we all love you and well see you when we see you. Love, Dolly, Jim, Ying & Yang
Janet was a wonderful, loving, kind, thoughtful, and selfless friend! She always was thinking of ways to honor others! There really didn't need to be an occasion for her to send a card to light up your life! I will miss her and her infectious laugh. Rest well my friend!
We remember Janet as the person who came into our lives and touched our hearts. Always a smile on her face and she never spoke a cross word to anyone. She loved dogs, our two Sassy and Shu Shu, loved her a lot and we knew that they were always in the very best care. A bright shining person who fought the good fight and never gave up. May God shine his Grace on you, our dear friend. We will miss you......we might have moved but we have lots of wonderful memories of our time with you!
Janet, how John, Doc and I will miss you! Your smile could light up any room. Your humility, concern for others, and big heart were such admirable qualities. You have gone through so much -- may you truly find peace now.
Janet was unique--so special in many ways. I will remember how she lit up the room when she came in. Everyone knew Janet, and Janet knew everyone. I will also remember her as an outstanding cook. My deepest condolences to her family.
A special person who enriched the lives of those with whom she interacted. May she soar with angels. She will be missed but well remembered.
So many treasured memories. We will miss you dear friend. Love, Shirley
