Steven Martin
in honor of Lawrence.
Mr. Lippert was the most influential teacher I ever had. He taught our English class at Grosse Pointe High, and we started a poetry magazine with his help for which we sought contributions from fellow students. He helped write an influential letter which I believe guaranteed my acceptance to Stanford University, I studied there and in France. I became received a M.D. at Stanford, loved being an anesthesiologist, and always reached out to Larry as my mentor. He will live in my memory as long as I do, and many people know how influential he was!
