Dear Ling, Carol, Alan & families,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your husband/Dad led a full and amazing life with many professional accolades and accomplishments, not the least of which was blazing a path and providing for his beloved family. Perhaps most importantly, he was surrounded by love... from Spouse, family, and many dear friends.
Each time we saw Uncle, he was a kind and gracious gentleman, with a warm smile to share that made everyone feel accepted and at ease. Thought he was understated, it was clearly evident that he had a deep and visceral love and pride in his entire family including his devoted wife, children and grandchildren. It is said that grief is the price of love. Though Uncle lived as full a life as this world allows, it seems that still we are never quite ready to say goodbye and wish we could have another day. He will be greatly missed.
We will always appreciate the legacy that he beautifully left behind. God bless you and the whole family during this painful time and an extra blessing to Ling during this time of difficult grieving for her life partner, and to Carol who thoughtfully, humbly and generously gives her best to her beloved family each day. Wishing Uncle a peaceful rest until we meet again.
