Michael Henry Wonner passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on August 24, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia L. Wonner, his two daughters, Tracy L. Lane (Mark) and Renee M. Castro (Mike); four grandchildren and Read Obituary
Mike and I were both in the Air Force, and after retirement found each other working at the same company in Ft Walton Beach Florida. We worked well together and I always enjoyed Mikes company. He was a fellow Colonel, a Brother In Arms and a true friend. I will miss him. God Bless you Mike. Alan Hassell
I was so sorry to hear of Mikes passing and know how much he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We shared many great times together that will never be forgotten and I will never forget the trips downtown on Saturday mornings to pickup the game footage from the previous nights football games or the years shared in the fraternity house at BG. My thoughts and prayers are with Ginny and the family - he was certainly one of a kind.
