Monica Christine Bair's Obituary
On the morning of June 17, 2022, Monica Christine Bair passed away at age 47.
Monica was born to Linda and Chris Tyler in 1974. Monica worked in the beauty industry, where she continued to educate herself in all areas of cosmetology and esthetics. Monica was dedicated to her career and helping others feel good and be the best version of themselves. In addition, she became a certified Cosmetology Instructor, after mentoring many stylists throughout her career.
Monica worked at Cost Cutters as the Artist Director. She never felt like she was going to work because she loved cutting hair and was so passionate about making a positive impact in others’ lives.
In November of 2003 Monica married her best friend Lawrence Bair, and together they raised their son Tyler Bair in Tucson, Arizona. The love in this family knew no bounds. “Team Bair” a family so loyal, loving and all about “The Hustle”. Together they laughed, cried, cheered each other on as a force of strength.
Monica passed on her zany sense of humor to her son Tyler, never did a day go by that one wouldn’t hear laughter in their home. This mother son relationship will undoubtedly take Tyler through life, remembering his mother’s way of devotion to her family, perseverance in her career always striving to learn, and teach. To call Monica generous was an understatement, as she was always giving to others by way of improving their life, not just their day. Monica’s love for dogs, Louie, Alize, and Max made her world complete.
Monica found immense joy in all thing’s beauty related, in fact she would be sure to let you know how she felt about your hair and outfit, adding her expertise whether solicited or not. This was a love language of hers, an expression of encouragement promoting self-esteem.
Monica is preceded in death by her father Chris Tyler and sister Andrea (Annie) Tyler. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Bair, her son Tyler Bair, her mother Linda Tyler and mother-in- law Fannie Ellis, her sister Rachel Tyler, nephew Jordan Whitmore, her aunt Michele deCesare and cousin Kelly Dorman, and her beloved dogs Alize & Max.
