Rachel Ann Krieg's Obituary
Rachel Ann Krieg Obituary
Rachel Ann Black-Krieg was born on March 21, 1983. She had a difficult and early start to life and spent six months in the NICU at Tucson Medical Center before coming home to her family. As a child she was a vibrant and social butterfly that loved to spend time with people. As Rachel grew, God gave her an amazing network of loving support. She was blessed by the love and care of many people who advocated for her care, lovingly taught her, helped her learn to live life as a visually impaired person, and supported her with her behavioral health challenges. Rachel loved to connect with people and loved to talk on the phone with her family and friends. She loved to use her electronic devices and could often be found singing and listening to music. She loved appreciated eating a good meal and was always on the look-out for a new recipe to try. Rachel treasured her four legged companion and service dog, “Lady the Loveable Lab,” who faithfully and courageously stood by her side. Throughout her life, Rachel was a survivor and a fighter. She faced many difficult situations with determination and the vision that “God is in control.” She often thought of others and sought ways that she could encourage others in their journey. As she passed into eternity, Rachel is now able to see, to sing, to run, and to dance without the inhibitions of a body that has bound her in so many ways. She is in the loving arms of our Savior. She is welcomed to her heavenly home by her brother, Stephen Black as well as her grandparents. She will be missed by the many people who had the privilege of knowing her and loving her. Rachel is survived by her soul mate and confidant Jeremy Krieg; her parents, Robert and Joyce Black of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters Valerie (Jason) Clapero of Tucson, Arizona and Lisa (Joseph) Bolton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a brother Robb (Mona) Black of Tucson, Arizona.
If you desire to honor Rachel, please consider a memorial contribution on her behalf to Handi-Dogs.
Untitled Hymn
by Chris Rice
Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live! Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain, so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live!
And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall, so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!
Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!
O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside, then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live!
And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus, and live!
