Richard P. Fink's Obituary
Rick Fink, owner of Hacienda del Sol, Zona 78 and Stray Dogs, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17. He was lovingly surrounded by his wife Nanci, his son Kevin, his daughter-in-law Alicynn and his sister Meg Walsh. Richard Paul Patrick Fink was born on November 27, 1950 in New Britain, Connecticut to Richard and Grace Fink. His life was one full of adventures, of strangers made into friends and of meals shared with those who were hungry. Rick exuded hospitality and loved with an open heart. He leaves a legacy in the Tucson hospitality industry, in the innumerable charities he supported, but mostly in the people whose hearts he touched. We ask that you raise your glass tonight and toast to a man that has shaped so many.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, the University of Arizona Cancer Center or to the charity of your choice.
