Robert Hansen
i first met Bob and Cheri when we moved to Douglas in June 1957. We moved into the house next door. My father, and my mother especially, always had problems making friends but the Durazos became their closest and dearest friends. My sister was the baby sitter for Annette and David when they were little tykes. As I grew up, I could always talk to him. He bowled with my dad and I would frequently visit with him at Sears and after Sunday Mass at church. In fact I would often just hitch rides to church with him or Cheri's father. When he moved to Tucson, I would still try to visit him at the El Con Sears where he worked. I think the last time I saw him was at my dad's funeral. He is one of those people that had an influence on my life. I wish the world had more people like Bob. The world would be a much better place.
