Thank you all for your cards in memory of Sandy. Tilghman and I can't thank you enough for your expressions of love for her in this way.
High School is so often full of angst - - - - but Sandy, when teen-age trials and tribulations threatened to overwhelm us, Sandy could always sooth the troubled waters, and make everything more calm and friendly. Tilghman, rough times ahead, I'm sure. Don't forget we love you. {{{{hugs}}}} Kristin, and Gretchen!
Tilghman, and to your son, Tilghman, and all close and loving family members and friends...
My heart-felt sympathy on the passing of your wife Sandy, and your son's mother. She always retained her beauty. I pray she is at peace now with the Lord, and that He will comfort you at this very sad time without her.
God Bless,

Sandy was a very sweet lady. I loved playing the card game Hand and Foot with her and Tighlman. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Pat Syring
Sandy was a very special lady. Even though I had not known her long, the time I did spend with her was fun. She was funny and a very caring person. Sandy you will be missed!!
Til and Tilghman:
I share my heartfelt love and sincere sadness hearing this news. I cherish all the fond memories of our friendship in Rhode Island -- Dinner Club, Teddy Bareskins, Hurricane Gloria, NH ski trip, boating to Block Island, Easter Egg balloon (I still have mine!)
And so much more.
I always miss your laugh!
Your RI neighbor, Lizann Gibson
I can attest to her awesome mah jong skills! I hadn't known Sandy long, but she quickly became a welcome part of our weekly mah jong group after she and Til moved to Vail. I learned so much from her and was very fortunate to have known her. She was a special lady.

Sandy, you were a special lady! We will miss the good times, but we have those wonderful memories to reflect upon in the days ahead. The pictures say so much about the love you have shown and friendships you have made throughout the years. You always took the best picture, Sandy. Your smile was infectious. We will miss you. Love, Rod and Linda
Sandy was a beautiful spirit and will be greatly missed. Upon review of the photos, Sandy surrounded herself with friends and family and loved life. RIP beautiful girl. Marci
