From Mom & Dad
Our beautiful son Shawn J. Miller sadly left us on 15 May 2023 at the tender age of 36. He left behind a loving family. He is survived by his parents Jon and Rita, brothers Sascha and Denny, his two beautiful children Stephanie and Derek, and their Mother Rose Miller, grandparents Snook and Helena, aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him so much.
Shawn loved music (self-taught drummer/the best), he loved sports and was the biggest Tom Brady fan. He loved working out and running.
Shawn loved the military and serving. He was an Instructor/Evaluator and loved teaching and sharing his knowledge with his students during his time of serving and later as a contractor. He received many awards for his work and dedication.
He was the best at everything he did. He earned a bachelors from UNLV and a master’s degree from Troy University. He was a couple classes short from his second master’s degree from Oklahoma City. Most of all he loved his Family and was the proudest father.
From Sascha Miller
Shawn was and amazing brother, friend, and comrade. He had the greatest sense of humor in the funniest most sarcastic way. He lived many lives creating new opportunities traveling the world, making friends, and breaking all the rules along the way with his brothers and friends. He was as caring as he was cool and would do anything for his own. He was a trendsetter and a leader while growing up and throughout his career. He will be missed and never forgotten for the good times he’s created and impact he’s left in many people’s lives.

TITLE: My Brother
Love and Time will always intertwine because Love is constant.
Time is also constant and continues to pound with a resounding tick.
Swiftly spinning within the depth of the dial.
Just as Love beats with the rhythm of your heart.
The tick of the clock and the beat in your chest will always dance.
Forever embracing each other with solitude.
Time does not pause, stop, or cease to exist.
Just as Love does not shatter, break, or falter.
In fact Love strengthens with Time.
Weaving into the seconds, minutes, and hours in the day.
Melding into a beautiful, resilient, and timeless Soul.
A Soul that is constant.
A Soul whose hands are interwoven with the hands of Time.
Like a hand print in wet concrete that eventually dries.
That hand print is in the Soul of the concrete.
The Soul will never waiver or quiver or shy away from Time.
Because Time enriches the Soul with Love.
Love from family, friends, and life.
The beauty of life radiates through beautiful Souls.
Souls that bring living to life.
They add emphasis to the sunset, they radiate as stars, and glisten in the reflection of the waves.
I will always remember your Love.
I will always remember your beautiful, resilient, and timeless Soul.
A Soul that will remain in the gentle hands of Time.
A Soul that will watch over us as we sleep.
A Soul that will embrace us in our dreams.
Because Time, Love, and the Soul is constant.
As constant as the memories I will hold of you.
Clutching, embracing, and cherishing forever.
Swiftly spinning within the depth of the dial.
I love you with all my heart...which will only strengthen with time.
It’s not goodbye...it’s see you later. ❤️
We are in the process of arranging a ceremony and will announce the details soon.
