Sherry Patricia Hustace's Obituary
Sherry Patricia Hustace, born Patricia Cleone Burns on October 1, 1946, in Santa Monica, California, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, having her loving children at her side, just one day before her 79th birthday. She lived a life full of beauty, laughter, and kindness, touching the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Sherry spent many cherished years in Kona, Hawai‘i, a place that deeply reflected her nature—peaceful, nurturing, and filled with the spirit of aloha. She was known for her caring and gentle character, her genuine compassion for others, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. She was selfless—always wanting to give to those she loved—and her generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She saw the good in people and treated everyone with grace, kindness, and respect. These qualities were the reason she was loved by everyone who knew her.
Sherry also had a fun-loving way and wonderful sense of humor, one she joyfully shared with her close cousins, Kelly “Colleen” and Kay “Kiono”, who were like sisters to her. The relationships she had with them were a defining part of her life.
Sherry is lovingly survived by her children: Michael Sheehy, Kelly Schauls, and Kaleinani Harmon; her beloved grandchildren: Natalie Schauls, Matthew Schauls, Lauren Sheehy, Tevin Sheehy, and Dylan Harmon; her daughter-in-law Dew Sheehy; and her son-in-law Scott Harmon. Her children and grandchildren were her world.
She will be remembered for her sweet, kind, and loving disposition, and for the beauty—both inner and outer—that defined her. Her kindness was truly unmatched (even recently taking off the shoes she was wearing, to give to someone who had none).
Sherry was loved and adored beyond measure. While her earthly presence will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, and in the kindness, joy, and generosity she shared with everyone.
Sherry was cremated on October 3, 2025, and her children will spread her ashes in the beautiful locations of her life.
