Family love ❤️,
Thinking of you all from Canada during this sad time. Rejoice in all those grand memories of your father, uncle, brother and friend. My sister's and I spent our childhood visiting and playing at Aunt Alifa and Uncle Tom's. During those rainy days when the street in front of the house would be flood and Donny Michael and my sister's would play in the flooded water. Warm hugs to all the Vera family.

When we were kids we would go to Bayard, NE to visit our grandparents. We would gather at our uncle Ernie’s for supper. Aunt Lucille would make the best food that fed us all. Then the party began. Uncle Tommy would play his guitar and our mothers would sing along in Spanish. There isn’t a time when we were together that he wasn’t singing. I will truly miss him! There will definitely be a void in our family. Thank you Uncle for stepping up in my life and treating me as one of your own. I love you with all of my being! Rest easy and give my parents and brother, Jesse a big hug. I know you’re all singing right now!

Rest in peace Uncle, your love and kindness will never be forgotten as your legacy is the family you and my aunt raised with love. We are holding you in our thoughts and prayers and loving nostalgia.

Summers in Bayard will always be remembered with Tio Tomas singing beautiful mexican music! God Bless
My brother, Raphael, and I driving around El Paso listening to 100 of Uncle Tom’s jokes. Then, next day, going with my dad and Tom to the guitar store. Dad and I bought Uncle Tom an Alvarez guitar as a surprise. Of course, there are many more memories and moments since the time I was 3-4 years old and Uncle Tom was 18.
